Terms of service
The agreement between you and Clavoz for using the app: accounts, trials and billing, your content, your responsibility for quotes, and our limits of liability.
Terms of service
Draft for legal review. Clavoz is not yet a registered legal entity;
these terms will name the entity once it is formed. Last updated: 5 October 2026.
These terms are an agreement between you and Clavoz, of Checkerberry Park Ln,
Tomball, TX 77375, USA ("Clavoz", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using
Clavoz you agree to them. If you use Clavoz for a company, you confirm you can
agree on its behalf, and "you" means that company.
1. What Clavoz is
Clavoz is software that helps trade contractors build quotes, read insurance
carrier estimates, send proposals, collect signatures and track jobs. It is a
tool. It does not give legal, insurance, tax, engineering or code-compliance
advice, and it does not act for you with your clients, insurers or adjusters.
2. Your account
You must give accurate information, keep your password private, and be 18 or
over. You are responsible for everything done under your account, including by
team members you add. Tell us straight away at hello@clavoz.com if you think
your account has been misused.
3. Free trial, plans and billing
- Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial. A card is
required at sign-up and $0.00 is charged that day. - Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription starts
automatically on day 7 and you are charged the price of the plan and
billing interval you chose, then again at each renewal. - Prices are shown in US dollars on our pricing page and may exclude taxes.
- Monthly plans: after the 7-day trial you are charged for your first
month, then every month until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal;
you keep access until the end of the month you have paid for. Monthly
payments are not refunded. - Annual plans: after the 7-day trial you are charged for a full year,
then every year until you cancel. You also get a 7-day money-back
guarantee on each annual charge: cancel within 7 days of being charged
and email hello@clavoz.com for a full refund of that charge. After that,
cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep access until the end of the
year you have paid for. - You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing & Plan, or by
emailing hello@clavoz.com. - If a payment fails we may limit your account until it is resolved.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; changes apply from your
next renewal.
4. Your content and your clients' information
Everything you put into Clavoz (business details, catalog, quotes, client and
claim information, recordings, documents) remains yours. You give us
permission to store and process it only to run and improve the service for
you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for having the right to enter your clients' information,
for telling them how you use it where the law requires, and for the content of
the proposals and contracts you send. Where data protection law applies, you
are the controller of your clients' data and we process it on your behalf.
5. You must check every number
Clavoz speeds up quoting; it does not replace your judgement. In particular:
- Carrier PDF imports can misread line items, quantities, units, prices or
totals, especially in unusual or scanned documents. - Voice walkthroughs can mishear words, numbers and measurements.
- Catalog, supplier and assembly prices can be outdated or wrong for your
market. - Tax rules, building codes, permit and licensing requirements vary by
place and change over time; any checklist or calculation in Clavoz is a
prompt, not a statement of the law.
You are solely responsible for reviewing and confirming every quantity,
price, total, term and code item before you send a proposal, sign anything, or
submit anything to an insurer. Clavoz is not responsible for losses that
result from numbers or content you did not check.
6. Acceptable use
You must follow our Acceptable Use policy. We may suspend or close accounts
that break it.
7. Electronic signatures
Clavoz records signatures your clients give on proposals, with the time, IP
address and browser. Whether a signed proposal forms a binding contract, and
what it must contain in your location, is your responsibility; ask a lawyer if
you are unsure.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep Clavoz available and your data backed up, but the service is
provided "as is" and "as available", and we do not promise it will be
uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or remove features; if we remove a
major feature you pay for, we will tell you in advance.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows: we are not liable for indirect, special
or consequential losses, lost profits, lost jobs or lost data; and our total
liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the
12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the
law does not allow to be limited.
10. Indemnity
You will cover our reasonable losses if a third party (for example one of your
clients) makes a claim against us arising from your content, your quotes or
proposals, or your breach of these terms.
11. Ending the agreement
You can close your account at any time by emailing hello@clavoz.com. We may
suspend or end your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms,
or if we stop offering Clavoz (with reasonable notice and a chance to export
your quotes as PDFs).
12. Enterprise and custom needs
If your needs go beyond our published plans, contact us through the contact
form or at hello@clavoz.com; any custom agreement we sign with you takes
priority over these terms where they differ.
13. General
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, and disputes go
to the courts of Harris County, Texas, unless the law where you live gives you other rights. If a
part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies. We may update
these terms; we will post the new version here and email account owners about
significant changes at least 14 days before they take effect.
